MetronomeMetronoom

Pick your tempo with the big minus and plus buttons, the slider or by tapping a few times at the tempo you want. The app also shows what that tempo is called in music, from Largo to Presto. Choose a time signature (2/4, 3/4, 4/4, 5/4 or 6/8): the first beat sounds higher and lights show which beat you are on. For subdivisions, choose 2, 3 or 4 clicks per beat.

Clicks are scheduled ahead on the audio clock, so the tempo stays steady even in fast pieces. The sound is made inside the app and only starts when you tap Start. While the metronome runs, your screen stays on. The app remembers your last settings and works offline and without an account.
